Well, what's a guy to do when he has extra time on his hands, a guitar and banjo just waiting to be strummed, and some recording equipment lying around? Why, record a good ol' fashioned fiddle tune, of course!
So the story goes that there once was a lass called Sally Goodin. Well, she must have been a fine gal, because two young men were fighting over her. So she proposed that there be a fiddle contest between the two and she would marry the winner. I don't know what the loser played, but the groom-to-be composed this fiddle tune and won himself a bride. :)
I just learned Sally Goodin off a mandolin player at work and arranged it for guitar and banjo. Enjoy!

That was really good Jonathan! I Have the same song one on the guitar that my guitar ticher gave me.

Hey John! Good to hear from you! :)
If you learn Sally Goodin from your teacher, maybe we can play it together the next time our families meet. :)
