Tammy

We are cleaning our house today for a cookout tommorow. It is our turn to host the Dinner For Six group from our church. The 3 wives have May birthdays so it is also a combined birthday celebration.

A side note:One of your daughters wrote that a good book to read is Evidence Not Seen.I can't put it down!!So far the story makes the last time Chris was unemployed (August 04-February05) seem like nothing compared to the trials in this book.

Deb

Hi Tammy, I have heard of those type church dinners; if I remember right our church back in Newport News had a group called Supper Eight. At the time we couldn't participate so I don't know what they're like. But hope you have a fun time.

Courtney

We got home last night (well, really this morning)at around 1:30 am, unpacked the car, checked e-mail and blog, got ready for bed, read and then turned my bedroom light out at about 3 am. As you can imagine, I haven't done too much today. So far I've read and ironed clothes for me and my sisters to wear for church tomorrow. Later, I'll probably make a dessert for our church's dinner tomorrow evening.

Paula

Walk/jog at the track this morning. Prepared crafts to sell at yard sale next week for Alaska mission trip in June. Bible study, journaling. Created card for a friend on the computer and sent two others out to friends. laundry. washed doll house to sell at same yard sale next week (neighbor's daughter was getting rid of it and she said I could have it. it's a dumpster dive!)

Deb

Paula, let me know how the yard sale goes. My mom just told me a story of a guy in her town who goes all over (once or twice a year when they have big clean-up drives) to collect people's throw-aways before the garbage collector arrives--fixes stuff up and gets it ready to sell. He then has a super-duper yard sale of his own and makes a couple or so thousand dollars!! Amazing!

Courtney, sounds like you need a few days recouping from your late night traveling. Thanks for sharing your Saturday.
