November's wind has arrived and whistled loudly last night, making its way inside the two-inch crack of the window we left open; and the chimes hanging from the front porch rafters were dancing wildly to the wind's music.
Today the sky is dark, dreary, and threatening rain. The fallen leaves are racing across the graveled drive and hopefully out into the fields. Everything outside screams November--except the 67 degree temperature! Tonight's 26 degrees will definitely be much colder and seasonal; I don't think the wind will get a chance to make its way inside tonight! And looks like hot chocolate is on the menu for sure.
My recomm
endation is Land O' Lakes Cocoa Classics which come in 10 different varieties--the French Vanilla is to die for and is my favorite. But for all the chocolate fans out there, the Chocolate Supreme is a winner, too. Wal-mart locations vary in price per packet. Our local store sells them for 44 cents each, whereas up the interstate there's another Walmart that marks them with a 39 cents price tag. And if you're a Costco member, variety cases are usually sold around the holidays which bring the price down even more.
