I guess when you received the green bowl you were going green before it became the "in" thing to be doing.

Maybe number 9 is that this bowl was the 9th one made and at one time there were 10 bowls in a set-different sizes and you received the 9th out of 10.Just my guess.

Wonderful green treasure you have there...
Those bowls are so appealing! Mine are the brown shade.
We planted some dill...hope it makes it!

That bowl is wonderful, Deb.

Deb, I like your olive bowl, but then again, I like dishes! If your bowl was made before 1920, it most likely has lead in it. That's okay, just don't put acidic foods in it like homemade salsa. Sure wish I were a part of that knitting class. Looks like so much fun!

I have a bowl just like it. Do you by any chance know how much it is worth?

Becky

I have just found this very same bowl in my grandmothers house. Yes there is a #9 on the bottom....no other names. I remember her using it when i was little as her mixing bowl. Im glad to see this picture. I too would like to know how much it is worth if anyone out there knows.
