Welcome to the Mountain Musings Merry Mountain Christmas Home Tour! I'm joining in with hundreds of other bloggers who are posting pictures of their decorated homes for the Christmas Tour of Homes over at The Nesting Place.
We decorate outside with red bows, greenery, and flags that depict the Nativity. The blue star flag says Celebrate Christ, and there's a small flag showing the wisemen at the bottom of the steps. The wreaths on each side of the front door are covered in candy canes, and we turn our candy canes upside down to make a "J" for Jesus.
For our meals we set the table with a variety of snowman plates. (I'll be posting our entire snowman plate collection this week ~ check back!)
Our foyer is decorated with greenery, ornaments, and white lights, and our tree includes many special ornaments. It's a "let-me-tell-you-the-story-behind-this-one" kind of tree! The plaque above the doorway says, "Celebrate Family ~ Friends ~ Traditions."
We usually attach all of our Christmas cards we receive to the branches of the foyer garland with red yarn. As more and more special messages from friends arrive, the colorful cards add to the festive look. I l-o-v-e hearing from friends at Christmas-time!
I've enjoyed being a part of the Christmas Tour of Homes, and I hope you've enjoyed seeing what Christmas is like here at Mountain Musings!
