From The Word

  • Colossians 3:12-13
"Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."

Granny I get to enjoy you whenever I visit. :) Please enjoy summer for me.

Every time I see Granny's baskets I'm amazed at how pretty they are. She really is a skilled basker maker. Have a great summer, Granny!

Hello, Deb!

It is so good that your mother remains so very occupied and the exercise keeps her fingers from arthritis, I am sure. This is why I love to play by the hour classical piano music, it is a way to exercise my fingers. She reminds me so much of my own father who is 93 and keeps up a huge garden, cans, raises all kinds of roses which he delivers weekly to shut-ins all over the place and ministers to the Hmong church which he attends. He speaks Laotian so the church is family although I have two brothers who watch over him!! But he sure is on the go!! Love you! Carolyn

Deb

Love, love, love the garbage basket she made me! Matches my bathroom splendidly!! Thanks, Granny!

Hugs,
Deb

She's been busy :)
I love those potato masher handles too.
And yes, what a great idea to use one on a birdhouse
