- Micah is observing a liver transplant this morning from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. I'm glad that's him and not this squeamish mama.
- Lots of music around the house this week--Jonathan is practicing flute, hammered dulcimer, and guitar for the church's Valentine Banquet this Friday night--he's playing the dinner music.
- Hannah, likewise, has been busy doing the calligraphy place tags for the tables; and Sarah is brushing up on her babysitting skills as she'll be helping in the nursery.
- We counted nine deer in our driveway yesterday--but brave Pepper guarded her property and barked them away.
- Today is "Do A Grouch a Favor Day."
- Tomorrow we celebrate another of our anniversaries--check back and see which one!

Sounds like your house is BUSY.... and thats normal ! :) As the kids get older I have realized that life doesn't get slower or "easier"... just busy is a different sort of way with all these BIG kids! No matter how old we get I think we will always be "pioneering" in this journey of parenting. :) I think the kids keep us young and thats a good thing. ;) Enjoy the music today!!
I read a quote the other day that I thought was very thought provoking and encouraging.. "Don't count the days, Make the days count" You guys are certainly doing that! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the encouraging words, Chris. No way can this household compare with your "our-ten-kids" busy household! :) Wouldn't you love to be a little fly on the wall in another friend's home sometimes to see how they function through it all? But don't come on one of my GROUCHY days! :)
And to my sis...hahahahaha!
