Proposal Anniversary! Yep, 25 years ago today Tom popped the big question (down on his knees!) in his parents' living room. It was snowy that weekend in Connecticut so we couldn't drive to Mystic Seaport (the original proposal location). That didn't bother me, as I had no idea what was up anyway. His family did though, and they were in the next room waiting for us to come out and make the announcement. (I said YES!!) A few minutes later we re-enacted the whole proposal and Sue, Tom's sister, took this picture. It's one of my treasured memories. Six months later we were husband and wife--the second best decision of my life! I am very thankful for the just-right husband the Lord gave to me!

I'm not sure I've ever seen that picture before, Deb! Very neat. And very young! :)

Wow--do you two look young! How well I remember that courtship and wedding from the perspective of sis's friend. What fun to reminisce a bit. I wish I had a re-enactment picture of Jess's proposal!

Deb,
When did you and your family move from South Boston? I've had so much fun reading your blog and looking at photo's. It brings back so many memories.
