"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? Matthew 6:26
"...the birds of the heavens...lift their voices among the branches. He waters the mountains from His upper chambers; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works." Psalm 104:12-13
We woke up this morning to a couple of inches of fresh snow on the ground and white flakes still falling. None of us were expecting it, though I guess we should have known there would be wintery weather, seeing as our family from Connecticut are driving down today for their visit. :) The temperature promises to climb by later today, though, so hopefully everything will be melted by the time they pull in the driveway tonight. Meanwhile, we will finish making the house spotless and cooking up meals, and the birdies outside will flit through the snow looking for their food which the Lord provides for them!

The pictures are nice. Did you take them, Hannah? Mr. Horton sure would love that tree full of crows...he used to have an injured pet crow when we first moved back to Virginia. Hope your company arrives safely and you all have a wonderful time together!
