Well, I haven't done a "what's going on in your neck of the woods?" post for several Saturday mornings now. I thought I would today so you'll have a chance to share your plans with us. For us here:
- Gloomy start to the day with some snow flurries; I hope it doesn't last because I have to grocery shop for the Mexican Day potluck at church tomorrow. We'll be visiting the home church gathering near Richmond again since it's been quite awhile since we've fellowshipped with those folks.
- Lots of cleaning to do for the relatives arriving Wednesday from Connecticut.
- Plan all the food for next week so I can grocery shop on Tuesday. I usually keep my menus on the computer, so I'll check to see what I fixed the last two times they visited so I won't duplicate.
- Finish laundry and iron clothes for Sunday.
- Work on my quilt.
Whatever your plans are, have a good weekend!

Dreary weekend here too. I'm doing inside stuff. So far: dusting and vacuuming and playing with Barney. :) He's scared of the vacuum.

This morning I worked at getting lunch ready-stirfried veggies and steak served over rice. This afternoon I've got some cleaning to do and food to prepare to take to a friends house for supper tomorrow. We're making homemade oreo cookie icecream--delicious!!(:

We just got home from GA and we are worn out. It was such a wonderful trip though!

Bet, Pepper loves the vacuum because she knows where I am and knows I won't be leaving her when I'm running it. She goes right to sleep as she watches me vacuum.
Sarah, your lunch meal sounds like a nice company dinner meal to me! yummy!
Courtney, glad y'all are home safe and sound. Were you plain worn out or worn slap dab out? That's the phrase I've heard all my life and it sounds doubly worn out, don't you think? :) Get some good rest tonight.

Seems like our Saturdays are ho hum! We're in the midst of beautiful weather - clear skies, chilly but not unbearably cold - so we had a nice morning for visitation. Wes studies all day on Saturday, and I make sure all my Sunday school stuff is ready and my lesson is prepared. I need to run an errand for Wes this afternoon - a break in routine! Yay! Beth is making cookies as I type, and I'll make us a low-fat, lo-cal Jello dessert for tomorrow later this afternoon. This evening I'll get our crockpot meal ready for tomorrow, and then I may pull out some crochet or cross stitch to relax with. So nothing spectacular - just the usual for a pastor's family on a Saturday!
