Today was National Quilting Day, and I missed it! The third Saturday in March was designated as a special day to celebrate quilting back in 1991 by the National Quilting Association.
After reading the web page information, I found out that quilters are actually celebrating the craft for the entire month of March. So maybe I can participate after all...by finishing my quilt this month. I've been asked if I've posted pictures yet. No...too many other good things crowded into the schedule, and I laid the wall-hanging aside for awhile.

Have you spent the day resting after a busy week? :)
I guess that the reason for our little local quilt shop having a special "Shop Hop" a week ago was in honor of National Quilt month. They joined forces with several other area shops and had special sales, goodies to eat, make and take classes and LOTS of interesting things on display. The goal of each customer was to visit each shop during the week, get your special "passport" stamped and be elagible for a drawing of some neato prizes. I didn't get a chance to go but sounded like lots of fun.
Looking forward to the pictures of yours and Hannah's FINISHED products! :)
