Granny & Micah

I thought I would post a picture of my mom (Granny) and Micah on Easter Sunday just before he left to go back over the mountain for some serious studying. We sure enjoyed having him here for the day.

Hannah and I shopped with Granny today to find a wedding gift for Micah and Elizabeth. We had fun although it was a chilly and rainy day--45 degrees! And we were dressed for 75 degree weather! Guess I should have dialed up weather.com before we left. When we arrived home, my sister called to see how much fun we were having without her and to tell us it was 91 degrees in Greenville today!

My mom had never been to Panera Bread, so that's where we went for lunch...and sat by the cozy fireplace in the center of the restaurant. Everyone was sipping on some hot drink and warming themselves before braving the rain again. It was a fun day even though the weather caught us by surprise. And it was a successful shopping trip, too. We will sure miss my mom when she goes back home tomorrow!

We had the same weather in Wake Forest-started out warm,the rain came and the temp went from 75 to 55 in about one hour.
