That does look like a nice place to visit on a fall day! I have always wanted to give spinning a try. I'm sure it takes a lot of practice, but the demonstrators always make it look easy.

Nice pics!

What a lovely outing - I really would like to visit that area someday.

Looks like it was fun.

I was in FLorida for a wedding -hot summer weather!!

Ah, a favorite spot from my childhood. We spent every Sunday afternoon driving on the parkway or the Skyline drive when weather permitted. My father loves it up there. We would bring picnics and oh the memories. I remember when they used to hang glide off Raven's Roost. You can see down onto my folks farm from one of the overlooks.

One of the things I love about your part of the country are all the interactive museums, farms, etc. Whenever we visit my dad in Pennsylvania, I drag everyone to things like this--I love it!

Deb, as a child we would travel to see my great grandma in West Virginia. The highlight of the trip was to always stop and have a picnic at Humpback Bridge. I haven't thought about that place in a long time. Have you heard of it?

Perhaps I'll have to add this to my travel wish list :).
