From The Word

  • Matthew 18:2-5
"And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me."

Tammy

Congratulations on winning!

My local library does their reading program in the winter months. I guess they figure reading is better suited to the cold winter weather. ;-) Anyhow, last winter I participated and the "prize" was a book of coupons for "buy one adult ticket, get the second half off" for the area attractions. Whoopee. ;-) But I DID enjoy reading the books!

And wow, I'm impressed with your 60 books! That's a lot of reading!

Congratulations! Our Summer Reading Programs are strictly for the children, ages 3-12. I had 4 children participating this year. They get a prize for every 10 books they read.

Sarah

Thanks everybody! :)

Mrs. C., I can't really remember what all I read...I know I read some mystery books, the sequels to "At the Little Brown House," other books I borrowed from a friend, some Lamplighter Publishers books, and then I reread a lot of our BJU Press books. I hadn't read many of them in years!

Sarah

Oooooh! Can I go shopping with you??? (: Congratulations Sarah, and weren't the "Little Brown House'' books interesting? (:
