It's snowing furiously right now in our part of Virginia. This is the view out our upstairs window after only a couple of hours of snow.
I can remember long years ago my dad telling me, "One day you won't be jumping up and down and happy about snow." Methinks that day has arrived.
Micah and Elizabeth are off on a residency interview in another state and have to be on the roads this evening traveling home; Jonathan has to make it home from working at the airport over a slippery, rickety, old one-lane bridge after navigating some crookety-tail roads; Tom, thankfully is working locally today and won't have far to travel but will still be "out in it."
And we three girls are here, warm and cozy, watching it snow. It makes me glad I spent time yesterday at the store stocking up on chocolate and other comfort foods...you know, the essentials for times like this.
Enjoy your day whatever the weather wherever you are!

Aw, that's what it looks like out my window, well except I live in the city and there are houses all around!

We had that same view on Tuesday! But I admit that I forgot to stock up on the chocolate! ;)

We had a snowy day today also! Although I had to go out this morning to teach, Emma and I have been doing the warm, comfort thing since I got home. We made peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies and watched the first installment of the Pride and Prejudice A/E video. That, of course, after she played in the snow, made pictures of our house and yard, and made a small snowman and a snow kitty! The snow is rare enough here that we all enjoy it--although we all worry about the treacherous roads. I pray all your loved ones get safely to their destinations tonight.

We bought more hot chocolate this week but the snow turned to rain.It is a cold rainy windy day.
I outgrew the snow about 6 years ago when we had wet snow.I was shoveling on a Monday,by Friday I was in severe pain and then found out I had a herniated disc.I dislike driving in it so I never really liked the snow even before the back injury.

It's so pretty! My folks got some snow last night down in Greenville, SC. I think I've outgrown my love of getting out in the snow, but I still love to watch it fall! We have had quite a few "snow events" this winter, but not much has actually stuck and stayed with us. Mostly rain, as usual!
