Boy, that looks like fun. I love to decorate cakes. Those cakes turned out so nice and pretty. :-D

What a great idea! You were so organized and knew exactly what to teach, and their cakes are beautiful.

Looks like you ladies had a wonderful time together! My girls did this a few years back and really enjoyed learning to decorate cakes.

That looks like such a fun day!!

How cool! I wish I could have learned too!

Looks like a fun, sucessful time together!!

Wagner Family

It was the best day! Anna thought you were the greatest teacher. I agree! She is ready for part 2!

What a great way to mentor young girls! Cakes looked so pretty!

It looked like you enjoyed it as much as the others, Sarah! What a blessing that those young girls have a godly young woman to look up to. I am going to tell my Sarah about putting her bag in a cup when filling it...that is a great tip! The egg carton on the counter looked empty...was that for something special? Happy Spring to you all! :-)

Sarah G.

Thanks for the comments - yes, it was a really fun day. :)
Thanks for commenting for the first time Sandy! Welcome to Mountain Musings!

Mrs. H., the egg carton actually was holding some of my dried icing flowers from the 3rd Wilton course. They were all the lily nail flowers - lilies, morning glories, poinsettias...and one other one I can't remember. I had them out on the counter to show everybody. :)

Thanks for answering the question about the egg carton, Sarah! I will tell my Sarah about that tip as well! She is hoping to take the 3rd Wilton's class sometime this summer.

Great idea! Those girls did much better than I ever could -- you must be a wonderful and patient teacher.

BTW, it was very nice to receive a personal email message back from my other comment -- thanks very much. :)

Ram in the Thicket

I used to be a cake decorator. It can be a lot of fun!

Courtney, Jer.33:3

How neat!! Wish I lived closer so that I could learn too!

May I come to the next class??? WE are trying to move to the mountains and I want to learn cake decorating. Pretty please????

Sounds fun!I wish I could make cakes like that!
