That sounds like a really neat tradition. :-D We are spending our saturday hunkered down and snowed in. A roaring fire, some hot tea, a cat in my lap, and my knitting. My birthday was this past week, so my husband has graciously agreed to suffer and play scrabble with me, today. :-D He hates scrabble and it is my favorite game. He plays it two or three times a year: birthday, anniversay, and sometimes valentines day. heehee Have fun!

AWWWW Deb!! :) What sweet SWEET memories! God has been good to allow this day to work out! see you soon!

Dawn

We are staying in - out of the snow.
Yesterday we were dumped with a foot with more falling as I write this...
Enjoy your date! There is nothing like spending time with dear friends.

Tammy

The rain here postponed the Boy Scout camping trip until early this morning,so the boys are gone now..Allison and I are unsure of what we will be doing, except for church tommorow.

Enjoy your time with friends.

Bet

I hope to be very domestic and do lots of housecleaning. How exciting!!

What special memories! Sounds like a wonderful day, rain or shine! Michie Tavern is beautiful. We visited, but were picnicing or something else that day so didn't eat there. As for us, Sarah and I are heading out to a few yard sales this morning. It is finally sunny here. We may head to a nearby campground that has a trail and walk awhile after it warms up this afternoon. Have a lovely time! :-)

Kathie

What a wonderful tradition. I think that is what I enjoy most about the internet ~ catching up with childhood friends and keeping in touch with current friends. Have a restful, fun day. We have a piano recital and chores, and lots of rain!

Melissa

I wanted to spend my Saturday sleeping in and avoiding the horrible blizzard-like conditions that we are so blessed with -- in March, of all months! Anyways, that was not the case, as I had to work at both of my jobs. Your Saturday sounds soooooo much better, how fun to double-date with old friends. :)

Fred

Our first double date was at JAMESTOWN Pie Company! We sat outside on the picnic tables and had a great time.
By the way, they have a store in the new City Center in Newport News now.
Chris and I had a wonderful time today. However, I will no longer be able to make fun of her 5 hour lunches with you anymore since I think we went overtime today!

Loved seeing all your double-date photos, Deb. I wanted to thank you for my wonderful birthday card that I received today. You are so kind to remember me. Thank you so much. Hugs to you and all the family. --Susan
