It's so beautiful! Although I love living in western Canada with the mountains and ocean, I will always love my Appalachians! Glad you all had such a nice time. And I would have stayed down and knitted with your mom! ;)

Thanks for sharing your hike with us, Hannah. Gorgeous scenery. Knitting sounds good to me too! :) But I would have loved seeing the waterfalls as well.

This is one of our all time favorite places. We love to camp out at Montebello also. When I couldn't hike up the falls due to extreme pregnancy and a toddler we took two cars and parked one at the bottom and drove up to Crabtree Meadows and hiked down. That way I got to see the view also. It is so cool here even on hot days.
