Wow! Let me be the first to comment. I checked your blog this morning and decided to try one more time for today. Glad I did! Your day sounds lovely. I, too, am spending a day at home--waiting for the garage door repairman. So far I've watered the flowers, dug up some rocks to fix the edge of a flower bed whose rocks got crushed by the car backing out of the driveway, cleaned off my desk, put lots of photos in a photo album (I admire your capacity for scrapbooking, but I'm just not that talented!), and took measurements for some artwork I want to frame and mount on our staircase wall. I've checked email, my favorite blogs, fixed and ate lunch. Now I'm trying to figure out whether I'm brave enough to wash some windows while I wait for that repairman. I think I will! :) Have a great day, Deb!

I love those kinds of days too - quiet, productive, full of simple beauty.

Love your sunflower picture!

I had intended to have a day of scrapbooking and getting my blog more organized, but I took a nap instead! I guess I really needed it. As soon as I finish checking in on some Daybooks I'm going to do my scrapping!

Are those raspberries and strawberries from your garden?? How do you still have berries at this late date? We are in NJ and our strawberries are LONG gone and our raspberries were just about finished a week or so ago. Is there a way to get a second "crop"?

Thanks!
Jamie

The pic makes me cheerful! And I want some raspberries too! YUM!

Just stoppin' by to say hi!
