From The Word

  • I Peter 5:8-11
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a "roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Hannah, your carrots are just lovely! I have never had good results with carrots.

I was just talking about Micah and Elizabeth today; my eldest son did not realize they had moved. Hope they are doing well.

That recipe sounds delicious! We will have to try it soon. Sarah and I were just talking about how we needed to come up with some creative vegetable dishes...seems like you gave us our first one! :) Thanks! How is your Aunt Bunny doing?

Kathie

What yummy-looking carrots! The only time I was able to grow carrots like that was when my daughter (then 6) spilled some seeds on the ground in late September. Next spring we pulled up some beauties. Maybe I should try that again on purpose.

Thanks for the recipe. I will try it with some carrots from the Farmer's Market.

Courtney, Jer.33:3

Wow! Those are some big carrots!! Christopher wants to have a garden next year and hopefully I'll be able to post pics of great looking vegetables like ya'll grew! :)
Don't forget........carrots can make a great pie too! :)
