Deb, thanks for the sweet card. I do so appreciate your thoughts and prayers too. Good luck with the work projects.

Looks like quite a project. Are you adding just one room? It looks like it is going to be very large.

That is exciting! It is wonderful that you'll be taking care of your Mum by having her in your home.

Hey...I like the red star on the building. :-)

How exciting!!! I understand watching your babies getting smooshed-ugh:)

what a mess, what a mess, what a mess... BUT... don't lose sight of the certain reality that, before long, it will all be past you, your yard will again have adjusted to your liking, and the whole place, in general, will be improved. Lawns can be replanted where the big trucks, dozers, trackhoes, have damaged it.... and oh, the place will be SO much larger and more useful. And the REAL prize... you'll have your Mum there with you, right at home I wish mine had been open to that, but no, she was far too "independent" to come live with any of us. Preferred her little apartment by herself. Dad. now that was another story. He LOVED being with us.... and it was a delight. I'm certain your Mum is more like my Dad.... and you will be SO blessed having her there.

We had several rooms built on to our house back in the early 90's. It was so fun to see the progress at the end of each day!
