"O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever." ~ Psalm 107:1
Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home;
All is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin.
God our Maker doth provide for our wants to be supplied;
Come to God’s own temple, come, raise the song of harvest home.All the world is God’s own field, fruit unto His praise to yield;
Wheat and tares together sown unto joy or sorrow grown.
First the blade and then the ear, then the full corn shall appear;
Lord of harvest, grant that we wholesome grain and pure may be.For the Lord our God shall come, and shall take His harvest home;
From His field shall in that day all offenses purge away,
Giving angels charge at last in the fire the tares to cast;
But the fruitful ears to store in His garner evermore.Even so, Lord, quickly come, bring Thy final harvest home;
Gather Thou Thy people in, free from sorrow, free from sin,
There, forever purified, in Thy garner to abide;
Come, with all Thine angels come, raise the glorious harvest home.Words by Henry Alford ~Cyber Hymnal
Company's Coming! Mountain Musings will be taking a blogging break this week to prepare for some of Tom's family arriving on Tuesday from Connecticut and my sister arriving from South Carolina. We're looking forward to some great holidays and hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving, too! See you back on the blog in December!

Have a fun and exciting Thanksgiving.
We were real close to going to Ohio for the holiday but Chris is unemployed again.
I hope the weather holds out so all can travel safely.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Girotti Family! I know you will enjoy the time together with family! We are expecting 20 for Thanksgiving dinner at our house. It will be a blessing. We are also bringing Dad Horton over for a couple of hours. :-) I talked to Chris, and we are checking days and will get back with you by the end of the week. I am thankful for your friendship!
