From The Word

  • Matthew 18:2-5
"And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me."

Hi Deb! How much do you get fabric for per yard at the end of the season sale? Maybe next year I will ride up there and hit the sale too!

Connie W

Deb, I was just thinking yesterday how I am attracted to red lately and was even imagining doing some home dec in red this year and also a quilt. I love the fabric in the photo :)

victoria

Love the fabric. I can't wait to see the finished results.

Mommy of two little blessings

I wish you the best in your red quilt. I suppose I favor the candy cane and the cluck, cluck, sew ones, but I am sure the ones you choose will turn out quite lovely. Glad you had a nice time out with your daughter. Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings.

Chris

DEB! I have that exact same fabric in my red and white stash!! I bought it this past summer as I was wanting to do several r/w quilts as gifts...Haven't started any of them but my stash is growing just a little, had to use some red for Christmas ideas/gifts, so glad I had it! I will keep an eye out for you, my quilting, scrapping, cross-stitching friend or should I say fiend! :)

Darlene

Red is my favorite color so I'm very smitten by that piece of fabric. I saw all the quilts you linked and loved them.

Beth

Looks good. Just found your blog, excited to follow it!

Dorothy

I HAVE to ask...does Pepper now have the run of the house or the downstairs???

Deb

Dorothy, LOL!!! No! She's sitting in the laundry room - her abode - and her leash is tied around the door knob. She can't go further than inside the little room. But since she's such a smart doggie, she gets as
close to the door and carpet leading to the family room as her leash will let her!
