Lovely Deb! Thanks for sharing your adventure. I like the pic of the buggy :). Thanks also for your comment on my blog recently! You are an encouragement.

Deb, I'm a lurker at your site so thought now is the time to leave a little comment. I've been checking in on you since you did one of my sister Barbara's blog tour stops.
I've been at the farmer's market many, many times and sorta claim a bit of Patchwork Plus beings my parents once owned the store before the present owners. Have a great week. ~Polly~

Wow, you're doing great to have met at least of two of your readers in the past month. Hope you get to meet the rest of us sometime too.

Whew! I'm so glad you survived! ;) LOL I absolutely love meeting blog readers. So far I've had two ladies walk up to me and ask if I'm who I am and tell me that they read my blog. Neither of them has ever commented either, as far as I know. It's so much fun to meet them!

Rose

Great story, so glad you and Bobbie met.

There is just something about leaving a comment that scares people. I've gotten emails from as far away as Australia...but seldom comments! I've also noticed my friends wait until they see me to tell me their comments. Oh well.

We, too, have met internet friends and it was wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

Btw ~ my hubby and children spent the weekend in your neck of the woods kayaking on the Shenandoah River. They loved it, as usual. This is their fourth time. The weather was perfect...even the little bit of rain.

Barbara Cline

So neat. Looks like you and Bobbi are "kindred spirits".

Bobbi

Well, I'm Bobbi and I never thought I would be called a "lurker"!!! Meeting Deb and Granny was the hightlight of my trip. We had a wonderful time. After leaving Dayton we went to Harrisonburg, then we spent Sat. and Sun. night at Vickie's timeshare in Gordonsville. Today we went to Yoder's in Pratt, VA, which is another one of my favorite places.

Deb, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day to meet me. God has blessed me with a new friend!

Vickie

"Friend Vickie" enjoyed meeting you and your wonderful mom. I've never read blogs before but find this fascinating. Thanks for meeting us.

Hello Deb
What a blessing that was...I was thrilled to see your happy little box pop up over at Pioneer Beauty..Glad you stopped by to join in on the fun as well...actualy Marie~Madeline is going to be doing a Giveaway for my business blog..but the Lady building it recently got sick..with a bad sinus and ear infection so progress has slowed down on it..I did my first Giveaway which ends tonight..the Jane Austen Cloth bound book and have had so much fun with it..that I decided to do a pre-Marie~Madeline Giveaway..to get my feet wet before the Big Giveaway on my soon to be other blog...I pray that all is going well with the family and Dear Sweet Granny as well..

Hi Deb, that must have been quite surreal! At least you didn't have to wear a carnation in your hair :0) Or in your book as in "Shop Around the Corner"
What a joyful time it must have been for you all.
Blessings,
Val xx Oxfordshire UK
