National Doughnut Day

Did you know that today is National Doughnut Day? I know that several stores are giving away free doughnuts today! I'm celebrating this momentous holiday by making some homemade doughnuts - one dozen "healthy" baked whole wheat apple cider doughnuts are already done. I used my special pans for those, and they turned out well. (I had to test one to make sure, you know. :))
Next up: these absolutely delicious-looking strawberry glazed doughnuts. YUM.

Sarah ~ I am definitely going to try these doughnuts...as soon as I get some goat's milk yogurt. These recipes are easy to switch to dairy and egg free. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Oh Sarah - I could lose myself with a fresh and hot Krispie Kreme donut! They are my weakness - but sadly - not on my diet right now!! It is a good thing there is not a shop in my town - I could not be so strong I do not think!!
