I can't seem to stay away from quilt alongs!
I think it's the sense of community--knowing that quilters from every walk of life are all working on a quilt together, and I love being a part of that!
Rachel, over at p.s. i quilt, has started a synchronized squares quilt along--tentatively the quilt top will be finished by June 30th.
I'm using a Moda layer cake that I already have--plus the backing and binding are already purchased--don't have to buy a thing to get started.
Here's the fabric I'll be working with--a Lovely Layer Cake by Sandy Gervais. The blue swirly is the backing, and the yellow dot is the binding.
Want to join in with us? You can find all the details and see a picture of the quilt we'll be making here.

Oh Deb! I want to join in too but I just have so many projects going already! :( The fabric you are using was one of my FAVORITES!!!!! I almost ordered some SEVERAL times this spring, but then didn't. :) I am really looking forward to seeing yours. Absolutely LOVE that backing and binding fabric as well. I know you will have fun.
