Well, this week has been FULL of Fun, Food, and Fellowship with my sister and her teacher friend who came to visit...and getting Granny packed and off to SC for the next few months (will post soon on some of our adventures this week).
So needless to say...we've been busy antiquing, picnicking, and strolling the shops downtown and nothing has been done on the UFO projects since last time.
Susan over at Blackberry Creek wanted us to post our progress (or not) today for Mr. Linky and her halfway-through-the-year giveaway for all UFO participants.
Next week I'll play catch-up and hopefully have something to report!
~Deb
Sounds like you've been having a great time, Deb. UFOs will be there when you get to them.

When there's family to have fun with, those UPOs just have to wait. Sounds like you all had a most enjoyable time together.

Your priorities are in perfect order! Family, friends, and fun - oh, and food - are most important and those dear UFOs will have to take a back seat for now.
Enjoy it all!

I know I'd have made the same decision - family and friends first before projects. It sounds like you've had a wonderful time, and I shall look forward to reading about your adventures when you get round to posting them.

Glad you had a nice visit with your sister and friend. I know you will miss granny, so I'm glad you spent the week enjoying her company too. Those projects will always be there for whenever you have time for them.

Antiquing, picnicking, and strolling through downtown shops sounds like a perfect way to spend hot days at the end of July.

So nice that you had a good visit with your sister and friend. I'm sure it feels odd for Granny to be gone again. Looking forward to seeing what you work on next.
We are feeling inspired to take on a few new projects at our house, we have lots of new crafty ideas.
