Help! I'm a Little Green Quilter who has been lost in space lately! My Bernina wonders where in the world I am, and I'm sure Susan does, too, over at Blackberry Creek--UFO headquarters!
So...this week I think I'm ready to tackle the next UFO project.
What will it be? How about Pat Sloan's Orange Pile Quilt Challenge...lots of folks have one of these on their unfinished list! Here's a photo of mine from back in March, 2009, when I first started.
As you can see, most of the quilt top is already done.
This week I'm working on sandwiching it together, and getting it ready for quilting and then binding.
Hopefully, it won't be long before I can post a completed photo and cross this one off my list, too.
Check out the other Little Green Quilters' progress over at Blackberry Creek.

Way to go, Deb!! Your quilt top is wonderful and I really like the pieced border. You'll soon have it completed.
I was part of the OP challenge, too, but took the easy way out and made just 4 blocks in Halloween fabrics. My completed little wallhanging is hanging in our entry hall right now. 'Tis the season!
Cheers!

Isn't it hard to go back and finish unfinished projects?? Why are we like that as humans? I don't quilt, but your post is a good reminder to be disciplined about our daily lives. UGH.

Deb, I love the colors of this quilt. It looks like fall! I have a question, why is it called a "Pile" quilt? I would assume it's because of the fabric? I can't wait to see the finished piece. Tell Granny I said hello and that I'm praying for her.
Blessings,

I didn't make one of these myself when Pat did it but I love the pattern. Looking good so far!
