From The Word

  • I Peter 5:8-11
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a "roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

What a fun day. I think I'm a lover of day trips, too, though I never considered it before. I definitely do love it. That antique shop is so incredibly adorable. Wow! I would love to stop there!

Leslie from Virginia

I figured that you might have gone to Olive Garden!! :) What a special day for you and Dorothy!

What could be more fun than a day trip? A day trip will special friends! Looks and sounds like it was a very sweet day. What a blessing for both of you.

Glad you got to spend time with your friend Dorothy.Cake looks yummy.

Always interesting to see buildings go through different names and businesses. The candy shop in downtown Wake Forest used to be a ice cream cafe and before that a jewelry store.

Rose

How nice that you could both meet up like that! Those sorts of day trips are such fun.
