great find...the quilt is lovely!! Enjoy your sister's visit!!

I was way off in my thinking, tho I didn't make a guess. I figured the watering can was too obvious and I was thinking maybe the flower pots since you love to garden. Didn't pay enough attention to the quilt!

$48 dollars for the watering can?!!!!! I wouldn't have bought it either! You made a much better purchase with the beautiful quilt. I have a few of my grandmother and great-grandmother's quilts they made and there is nothing like the vintage/antique (?) fabrics and batting feel. Theirs seems to always include a 'gray' fabric in there too like the border of yours. Love those pastels and color combinations of your new quilt! Absolutely a great find. Enjoy your sister!

My husband does caretaking for a wealthy ladies' summer home, and he recently picked a similar watering can out of her trash pile. It's perfect too, and although he uses it to water the flower beds, it looks cute sitting on the deck steps when not in use. And the price was right ;o) Lovely quilt, did it need cleaning?

$48!? I would have left it, too. =( The quilt is beautiful!!

I would not guessed the quilt because you make them!

Celebrating 27 years of marriage today.

Deb- that quilt is beautiful and deserves to be at your house where I know it will be loved!! I'm crossing my fingers that the watering can is on sale!

Sheesh--- it's hot here!!

I probably would have passed for $48, too. But sometimes I still take it, even if it's too much, because I can never find it again and I have regretted passing on some things. Love the quilt you go, though!
