Bloomin' Tuesday ~ Coneflowers & Yarrow

I've always loved sunflowers.

But coneflowers rank right up there as one of my all-time favorites, too. For some reason, these days I catch myself referring to them as pinecones instead of coneflowers! Oh my, the mind does crazy things, doesn't it?

Turn the corner, and there are more amongst the yarrow:

And there's a family of white coneflowers, too:
