From The Word

  • I Peter 5:8-11
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a "roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

I also love that spools quilt on your couch. You've probably posted about it before, I just don't remember it. :)

I think I have seen everything in a living room!!

Can't wait to see the completed project.

Way to go Tom! That should rack up some points for father's Day! Just keep reminding Sarah around the first of June in case she forgets! This may also motivate the other kids to give nicer Father's day gifts in hopes of a wood project from Dad. Good thinking!

I know Sarah will cherish this bed for the rest of her life. My father made my cedar chest (aka Hope Chest)from a kit that he bought out of a wood working magazine. It sits at the foot of my bed and reminds me of him every time I look at it. He passed away 29 years ago. I will always cherish it.

Blessings,
Bobbi
