Happy Birthday Granny!

Funny about the birth certificate. My dad had to change his because he was told his name along was Raymond Alfred but it was written as Alfred Raymond.I am Sure it didn't help that his parents didn't speak English.

My dad was from a family of 11 and 2 were born on November 1.

A very Happy Birthday to Granny !!!! How wonderful that it works so well for her to live with both of her "girls"...

My mama (who would be 90 now) discovered that her name was NOT Hazel Melissa around 1976 and she and daddy had to spend some money, research & time at the court house to change it...apparently my grand mama was very sick when she arrived and the dr named her, Sally Estelle (Estelle was my grands name- but still...really)??!!!! She was always called Hazel...

Amazing stories hun !!!!!

Bless you Granny and your new DOB too !!!

As a treat to myself on my birthday today, I am reading blogs of favorite people. :)

Happy belated Birthday Granny!

That happened with two of my sisters. Somehow there was a mix up and Joan was celebrating on the date Alice was born... and visa versa.

But if you knew my mother you would understand. I loved her dearly but she could be a little scatterbrained. ;)

I hope your grandmother had a wonderful birthday! I'm sure it was quite a job straightening out all that paperwork.
