From The Word

  • I Peter 5:8-11
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a "roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Welcome back to Virginia, Granny! I know Deb and family missed you. :-) Your baskets are beautifully made. Happy Labor Day, Girotti family!

Toni

Hi Deb! It would be so much fun to see you and Granny at the craft show. I wish it was closer to Tennessee, but as they say, you have to bloom where you grow. :) Have a great Labor Day!

Enjoy your time in Virgina Granny.

I might have to buy a couple more baskets.I love the napkin holder basket I own.House keys are in the potato masher basket.Granny basket hold odd and ends on my dresser.

Hope you all had a nice holiday weekend.

Hi Mill,so glad you are back at Debs. I know they miss you so much when you go to Bettys but I know you have to share your time with them both. You look so beautiful and I love you so much.Take care and do not over work yourself. Hi Deb and family.

Kendra

Welcome back to Virginia, Granny! It's wonderful to see you making your lovely baskets. I hope you get many made in time for Dayton Days.

Kathie

SO nice to have Granny back with you! And a very Happy, though belated, Anniversary from Roger and me! So glad you had a lovely getaway celebration!

Bet

Hmm... I am not sure I like all this jubilation over Granny being back in Virginia. How about a little sympathy for the lonely Bet in South Carolina? After all, there's a gang in VA to keep everyone company, but I have only little Barney here when Granny's gone! Plus, she makes baskets here too--just not this last time because of my kitchen renovation. Glad I got that off my chest! ;-)
