There are some players getting reeeeeally close to winning - will it be soon?
I love to play games with my family and when we have friends over! We have a tradition of playing games on birthday nights, and the birthday person gets to choose their favorites. We also like to play games around Christmas time, since my aunt is here and Dad and Jonathan are off work. Aunt Bet has often given us a family gift of a new game to add to our stash, and then we try it out while she's still here. :)
I listed some of our favorites on a post 8 years ago, and we still enjoy those! Some of the newer additions include Quirkle, Ruckus, Anomia, Gotcha, Hand and Foot, and Pigs and Chickens.
What are some of your favorite games, either board games, card games, or others?
Why don't we have a little game right now - I found 2 different Christmas carol quizzes. Number 1 and Number 2. Go see if you can name the songs, and come back here and report how you did!

Yeah, you love to play games--with my head! At this rate, I'm never gonna win. Sad face.
We enjoy "Catch Phrase," "Spot It," "Ticket to Ride," and "Saboteur." Check 'em out. They're all very fun.
I don't care for a game called "Holly Jolly Bingo" where i have no shot of winning. Picture me w/angry tears and balled up fists...it's not pretty, I tell ya!
All in good fun...

Sarah, I checked out your game list from the past and had a good chuckle when I read how your mom plays Pictionary because I do, too! It's really a fun game, but why let anyone else win, I say. ;) We also like to play Chicken Foot with Mexican Dominoes.
Okay, I need 4 more words - Tomorra is anotha day, I suppose.

Can I shout out BINGO if I got all the hymns right in both games?!?!?! Tee Hee! That was fun. Now as far as how many words I have left, let's just say that this is probably the only BINGO I'll get to shout out! Thanks for the fun, Sarah!!

Hey Sarah, Thanks for the quizzes, they lifted my spirits. I aced both of them. Singing in choir all of those years helped a lot! I wish we were together, and we could go Christmas caroling! I might go to a carol sing this weekend at Mystic Seaport. Also, one of the choirs with whom I sung, is having Lessons and Carols on Sunday. I only have three words left for Bingo! Have a great day! Love, Aunt Toots

I missed one on the first game but none on the second. We enjoy playing Pictionary and Catch Phrase.
My list is getting shorter but I think Chris must be in the lead.

oops, I forgot to tell you about our favorite games...Well we seem to play really loud games, ie Pitt, Spoons, Dutch Blitz. We also play a lot of Scatagories. That's a family favorite as we pair up the little ones with someone who reads and writes:) and have several teams. :)

I neglected to play the Christmas carol games, so went back and played. I got 100% on both.
I won the booby prize. Hoozah!
