Holly Jolly Bingo ~ Year 3

Welcome to the third year of Holly Jolly Bingo! Hopefully you all are not tired of this yet. :)

I am going to be running a contest this month, just like the last two years. I originally participated in one of these over on the In Stitches blog. If you played last year, you already know how this works; if you're new around these parts, read the rules below and feel free to jump in!

Game Instructions & Rules:

1. Choose 25 words from the list below. Write them down to save for yourself AND email your list to my email: girottih(at)yahoo(dot)com. Include your name in your email.

2. All list submissions must be received by MIDNIGHT (EST) Sunday, December 7.

3. Beginning Monday, December 8, I will post 12-15 randomly chosen words each day (Sundays excluded). Words will be posted around 8 am EST until the first two people reach BINGO! 

4. Participants will want to check our blog each and every day to find out what words were called and cross them off your list!

5. As soon as you have crossed off all 25 words, please leave a comment posting “BINGO!” I will double check your list to make sure it is a good bingo and will announce the winners on the blog. Even if someone has called “Bingo”, please continue to post “Bingo” until a winner is announced.

6. Multiple family members are welcome to play, just send me the separate lists for each of you.

All right, folks, we have prizes! As before, we'll have 2 prizes, 2 winners, and the first person to bingo will have first choice. Granny said she'll make a little basket that I will fill with fudge, and the second prize will be a $20 Amazon gift card. Sound good?! :)

Oh what fun! I had a blast playing for the first time last year. I don't know how anyone could get tired of Holly Jolly Bingo. I wondered if you'd offer it again, and I'm so glad you did. :)

Why picking a list of words and then checking them every day is so fun, I'll never know. But, it is! If you've not played in the past, c'mon and join the fun. I hope that there are even more players than last year.

Now, if you don't mind, I need to get back to studying the list, and divining what words will get me a fat win.

I just submitted the winning words, but if you want to try for first or second place, feel free to do so.

In fact, to better my odds of winning, I think that I'll have my husband, kids, kids-in-law, g'kids (who cares if one is just two months?!) enter as well. That'll give me, oh, about 31 more chances of winning. I like those odds! :)

Argh! Can't believe we missed this!! We've all been so busy we haven't had a moment to check your blog! T'wasn't 'til Jordan mentioned she was doing it - the day before yesterday! - that we even knew about it. Remind me next year so we can give these southerners a bit of hearty northern competition! ;-)
