Holly Jolly Bingo ~ Day 2

Day 2, fifteen more words!

One yummy tradition that we have in our family is our Christmas chocolate candy tray! Mom bought this platter years ago, and every year she buys all types of candy to fill it up on Christmas week. Red and green kisses, peppermint patties, peanut butter cups, M&Ms, you name it.

We don't have all the bags of candy quite yet, so this picture doesn't do it justice. It's normally full and overflowing! :) This is just what I found stashed in mom’s purse which she picked up at a Christmas Open House!

Holly Jolly Bingo ~ Day 1

Well, here we go - the first day of bingo words! There are 30 people playing along and prizes for the first two to bingo. (If you didn't see my updated prize info, go to my first post to see what you're playing for!) Without further ado, here are your 15 randomly chosen words for today:

It's appropriate that we start out this contest with Good News! After all, we wouldn't even have Christmas except for the fact that God sent His only Son to Earth to save sinners. He became man...for US. Isn't that wonderful?!

Happy Birthday to the Holly Jolly Bingo Girl!

Happy Birthday to Sarah on her special day! She's already been out and about for some birthday freebies for lunch--one of her favorite activities on her birthday...yum!

Now she's enjoying a cozy, inside afternoon working on a puzzle and listening to Christmas music while her favorite birthday meal of Snow on the Mountain is being prepared!

I guess the only thing that could make it better for her would be SNOW falling!

Holly Jolly Bingo ~ Year 3

Welcome to the third year of Holly Jolly Bingo! Hopefully you all are not tired of this yet. :)

I am going to be running a contest this month, just like the last two years. I originally participated in one of these over on the In Stitches blog. If you played last year, you already know how this works; if you're new around these parts, read the rules below and feel free to jump in!

Game Instructions & Rules:

1. Choose 25 words from the list below. Write them down to save for yourself AND email your list to my email: girottih(at)yahoo(dot)com. Include your name in your email.

2. All list submissions must be received by MIDNIGHT (EST) Sunday, December 7.

3. Beginning Monday, December 8, I will post 12-15 randomly chosen words each day (Sundays excluded). Words will be posted around 8 am EST until the first two people reach BINGO! 

4. Participants will want to check our blog each and every day to find out what words were called and cross them off your list!

5. As soon as you have crossed off all 25 words, please leave a comment posting “BINGO!” I will double check your list to make sure it is a good bingo and will announce the winners on the blog. Even if someone has called “Bingo”, please continue to post “Bingo” until a winner is announced.

6. Multiple family members are welcome to play, just send me the separate lists for each of you.
