It's Thursday, and day four of our bingo game. Having fun so far? :)While decorating for Christmas here in my new home, I kept up the tradition of winding garland around the stair railing and adding some red bows and ornaments. The one difference? I used colored lights instead of white! :)
A verse from the Scripture for today:
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
~Matthew 1:23
~Sarah
White is better. :) LOL. Your stairs look very nice.

Gene and I just finished praying together, and we thanked the Lord for Emmanuel, "God with us."
So, though I got ZERO words today (I'm going to have to make a big-time comeback if I'm to win this thing!), the reminder that God is w/us...in good times and bad...is enough to make my heart sing w/joy!

Love the scripture verse, Sarah. One year I put a million lights on a fence panel in the middle of the pasture that spelled "EMMANUEL" for passersby to see and consider the real meaning behind our celebration. Sadly, some folks had no idea what it meant.
Now, about the list, tsk tsk, I'm cryin' in my coffee again this morning as I only got one word today. I may have to adopt Cathy's strategy and stretch the rules a bit so I can cross out more words. O.O Or, maybe I'll just have a plate of donuts and think about that tomorrah...

Deb, Hannah,Sarah
I REALLY like the blog. I visit it frequently. I love all the homemade things you all make. All the recipes, quilts, scarves just everything.
I love the Scriptures, too. Please keep it up. It exalts the Lord.
Happy New Year to you all.
