We are on to day TWO! Fifteen more words are below...how many can you cross out today?
I've loved decorating our home for Christmas, and we're finally done making everything festive this year! Here's a picture of our mantle...I've added a few things since last year. And you'll notice the new stocking in the middle! :)
How do you decorate your mantle for Christmas?
~Sarah
We don't have a mantle, and we've never been into stocking stuffers...so, bah humbug. And, that's what I say to how many words I've gotten. I really need you to step it up, Sarah. ;)
Oh, and, besides, our state constantly has "Spare the Air Days," so people with fireplaces rarely get to turn them on. Long live CA! Bah humbug--again.

Surprise! I got four words today but realized my list only goes to the letter "i". When I tried to print your original list to chose mine, the printer wouldn't cooperate. Oh, well, maybe you'll choose lots of words from the beginning of the alphabet. We have a beautiful wreath over our mantel that my daughter made years ago and I added a new garland this year. No stockings hanging there though.

I have 3 words today. :) None on Monday. In Florida here without a mantle. We do have a wall shelf with pegs to hang our large MITTENS from. The idea when our children were little was to have helping hands....so mittens we have!

Only ONE word today!! Oh well, there is always tomorrow. :)
Our mantle has LOTS of stockings hanging on it....especially since I add one each time one of the kids gets married. Currently we have 18! It is beautiful. :) The stockings are all "vintage" when the kids were little. They leave their stockings here and I fill them each year. However I DO NOT stuff the grandchildren's...I would go broke! LOL Across the top of the mantle I usually put lots of fresh greenery and candles (In votive holders so I don't catch the house on fire!!) Today is the decorating day so off I go....:)

In an apartment we have no mantle so I'm using our gigantic bookshelf as one :) Our stockings, some fake snow, colored Christmas lights and reindeers :)

The house we are renting doesn't have a mantle. I am slow this year putting up the decorations. We were in New Bern NC to celebrate our brothers 70th birthday. We came home with colds and coughing.
Love the stocking for Andrew.
