Recently our daughter, Sarah, along with Eric and their boys Andrew and Matthew, visited us for a quick weekend...which passed way too quickly and long before I was ready for it to end.
It was little Matthew's 1st birthday, and we were thrilled to celebrate with him!

We had lots of fun opening gifts and celebrating! Great Granny made Matthew one of her heirloom baskets and filled it with goodies including a big jar of peanut butter, one of Matthew's favorites!

Before they left, we took a picture with Great Granny because she was leaving, too, headed to South Carolina to spend a couple of months with Aunt Bet. Good-bye everyone.....we'll miss you!!

If you wonder how fast times goes, see how the grandchildren are growing (forget the kids!).
"Baby" Piper will soon turn two and she has a brother or sister on the way in November.
My daughter's youngest just turned eight. It seems like last year they visited and I was astounded how she could use her mom's smartphone to watch a kid's movie... at age three!

There are our sweet boys. We enjoyed Matthew's Georgia party when he came home. He sure had a great time turning one!
