Hannah, your front porch is so beautiful. Love all the potted plants. It is still summer here. Hopefully next week will bring more Autumn temperatures!

Another beautiful garden at your house. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather but will miss all the pretty summer colors.
Thanks for sharing all these lovely photos.

I’m happy to see a new post at long last. Your flowers are garden are so lovely.

We did something different with our pumpkins and gourds last year. At the end of the season, my son mulched all them together into the ground, and continued breaking them up until they were throughly composted. Every week, unless we had rain, of which CA has little, he’d soak them. The vines took over much of the backyard area where they were growing. This year, we harvested about 30 pumpkins and gourds. It was so fun watching them grow and develop. Some are hybrids, which are quite delightful. I cannot express enough how grand God is to have provided such whimsy for us to enjoy.

We plan to do it again this year—this time with even more pumpkins. We’ll never rival your gardens, but we love the small garden we have.

Colonial Williamsburg is my Happy Place. I've only been there once, when we went with my daughter's family for a week, but it was a favorite week of my life.

One of my best friends had a garden that overflowed with produce this year. She was hoping for an early freeze so she had an excuse to not can or freeze, anymore. A couple of heavy snows (in South Dakota)took care of the garden.

She did admit that it will all be wonderful this Winter and she will be able to rest, then.

It is so lovely the way that you celebrate these beauties of God's creation. There so much wonder and joy simply in what He has made.
