What a fun week celebrating Bet! Happy Birthday!
Sounds like a perfect sister visit with so many fun activities together. Miss Sue's newsclip was great, and how fortunate that you met her in person. An amazing woman :)
For my selections--I would have followed you with the chicken salad, and would be thinking of trying either the Paddy Cake or Best Chocolate Cake.
Flowers look gorgeous -spring is coming...right?!
Our Easter was wonderful - hope yours was, too.

Looks like some fun places you visited...I would have enjoyed it all with you!

Looks like this was a fund place to eat and celebrate birthdays.

I would have ordered the same as Bet.

Staunton was written up in a magazine called Wake Living. Staunton-The Gem of the Shenandoah Valley has listed historical places. Architecture, arts and Entertainment along with Outdoor Recreation.

What fun! The restaurant sure is different, and both of your meals looked delicious! I am so glad you had a wonderful time celebrating.

What a lovely long-distance visit to South Carolina for me! I would have picked the same lunch you did, but would have HAD to order a dessert with chocolate in it. : )

We celebrated a wonderful Resurrection Day on Sunday . . . what a blessing to worship and rejoice with kids and grandkids!

I've only been to Brick Street Cafe once, and it's been a quite a few years. I can't remember what I got. ;) Looks like you had a nice time, and how nice to be able to meet Miss Sue!
